Licensed Practical Nurse administers nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisor. Provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering medication, and collecting specimens. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients by assisting with bathing, feeding, and dressing. Monitors and reports changes in patient's condition to supervisor. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Requires a state license to practice. Licensed Practical Nurse's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. We are looking for a detail-oriented LPN to join our team at NCC Solutions. You will be providing services to adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. We are currently looking to fill full and part time positions with flexible schedules available.

Main Duties will include:- Providing supervision and professional care to the individuals under the direction of the Registered Nurse
- Administration of medication as required
- Monitoring the medical needs of individuals, communicating any change of status, and providing direction in accordance to the level of care needed
- Serving as the primary contact with the physician of record in applicable settings
- Contribute to the nursing plan of care
- Maintain infection control logs
- Coordinating and assisting in the scheduling of medical appointments and laboratory work
Requirements
Minimum requirements include:
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Licensed by the State of Ohio and current on all CEUs
- Valid Ohio driving license
- Competent with computer skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to delegate tasks
- Ability to maintain a calm demeanor
