    Lowell Community Health Center is seeking an LPN for our Pediatrics departments. Our team supports our diverse population with ranging acute needs in an outpatient primary care environment.     Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Observes patients and reports adverse reactions to medication or treatment to medical personnel in charge.
    • Administers specified medication, orally or by subcutaneous or intermuscular injection, and notes time and amount on patients’ chart.
    • Assembles and uses such equipment as catheters, tracheotomy tubes, and oxygen suppliers.
    • Collects sample, such as urine, blood and sputum from patients for testing and perform routine laboratory tests on samples.
    • Interviews and collects specific information and data from patients and families and contributes to the identification of specific physical, emotional and cultural needs of those patients.
    • Safely performs basic, therapeutic and preventative nursing procedures.
    • Incorporates fundamental biological and psychological principles in giving individualized care.
    • Participates in community outreach and education as needed.

    Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Practical/Vocational Nursing.

    Licensure: Current license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

    Certifications: Current BLS certification required
