Licensed Practical Nurse administers nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisor. Provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering medication, and collecting specimens. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients by assisting with bathing, feeding, and dressing. Monitors and reports changes in patient's condition to supervisor. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Requires a state license to practice. Licensed Practical Nurse's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     This position would be responsible for providing quality care and home health nursing care services under the direction of a Registered Nurse or an Advanced Practice Nurse #INDNURSES Responsibilities:

    Supports organization's mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
    Implements plan of care under the direction of the Registered Nurse
    Assists client to follow preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures
    Monitors quality and appropriateness of services provided
    Establishes and maintains professional working relationship with health care providers and other members of the disciplinary teams in providing patient and family care
    Adheres to agency infection control and safety policies
    Adheres to the organization's policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance
    Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position


    Qualifications:
    Graduate of an NLN accredited LPN program with current NJ LPN licensure
    2 years of med/surg and acute care nursing experience
    1-2 years of homecare and hospice experience preferred
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Strong computer skills
    Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
    Car and valid driver's license
