Licensed Practical Nurse - Long-Term Care administers nursing care in a long-term care environment under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisor. Provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering medication, and collecting specimens. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse - Long-Term Care ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients by assisting with bathing, feeding, and dressing. Monitors and reports changes in patient's condition to supervisor. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse - Long-Term Care requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Requires a state license to practice.     **Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Experience: • 12 months of Long Term Care experience is required. • 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred. Requirements: • Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license in hand at the time of application. • Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role. • COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: Guaranteed hours 24 1 year experience w/ adult population required. Environment**: Nurses may be caring for COVID patients. Must provide a copy of a negative COVID-19 test result with the sample being taken one week or less prior to the start date on all contract assignments.
