Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Immanuel Campus of Care is looking to hire reliable and talented Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Nursing Team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience working as an LPN for a Skilled Nursing facility and loves being a nurse.

Job Duties

• Regulate and adjust medication and treatments per consultations with physician.
• Complete any documentation and charting daily for residents.
• Assist with direct resident care as needed.
• Act as an advocate for the residents when indicated.
• Provide care in privacy, and that residents are treated fairly, with kindness, dignity, and respect.
• Perform diagnostic tests as ordered by the physician.
• Arrange medical transport per policy.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Cooperate with other resident services when coordinating nursing services to ensure the resident's total regimen of care is maintained.
• Assist with the ongoing therapeutic management of stable long-term health issues in the chronically ill elderly.

• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to speak and write fluently in English.
• Ability to respond appropriately to diverse resident needs.
• Knowledge of proper Infection Control Procedures.
• Ability to multi-task in a high stress and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform physical demands of the job, such as assisting residents' movement.

Employment Requirements

• Arizona LPN license
• AZ Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (we will help you apply)
• Current 2-step TB test (available on-site)
• Current Hands-on CPR/AED Certification for Healthcare Professionals

Shift Available

This is a Non-Exempt FLSA status position working in our Skilled Nursing Facility.

FULL TIME SHIFTS:

6:00AM-6:30PM, alternating weekends

10:00PM - 6:30AM, alternating weekends

PART TIME SHIFTS:

Weekends only, Saturday & Sunday

Salary

$29.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience.

*($0.75 shift differential for qualifying shifts)
