Licensed Practical Nurse - Long-Term Care administers nursing care in a long-term care environment under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisor. Provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering medication, and collecting specimens. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse - Long-Term Care ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients by assisting with bathing, feeding, and dressing. Monitors and reports changes in patient's condition to supervisor. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse - Long-Term Care requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Requires a state license to practice. Licensed Practical Nurse - Long-Term Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. Long Term Care Position Details:- Idaho or Compact License Required
- Start Dates: ASAP December Start Dates
- Hours: 36hrs/week
- Shift: Nights – 12 hour shifts
- EMR System: EPIC
- Patient Ratio: 25-35 Residents with a 1:13/15 Ratio with CNA’s
Long Term Care Requirements:- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- Idaho or Compact License Required
- Certs: (AHA) BLS
- Meet pre-employment credentialing clearances (Background Check & Drug Screen)
- Ability to meet physical demands (stand: walk; sit; climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl), and lift up to 50lbs
- Covid Vaccine: Preferred but not Required. Will take Religious Exemption
Long Term Care Pay:
Weekly Direct Deposit & Benefits Available: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K
Travel Pay:- $28.50 Hourly.
- $85.46/hr OT.
- $1,025 Untaxed Per Diem
- $2,051 Total Based on Working 36 Hours
Up to $250 in Travel Pay at .655/mile traveled to facilityLocal Pay:- Local Pay Options available
