Duties:
- Perform patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms

- Conduct specimen collection processing and ensure accurate labeling and documentation
- Provide patient education on various health topics and assist with discharge planning
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Utilize electronic health record systems (such as eClinical Works) to document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with sterile processing of medical equipment and instruments
- Support physicians during procedures such as cardiac catheterization or sonography
- Provide case management services to patients, coordinating their care across different healthcare settings
Skills:
- Valid LPN license in MA
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures
- Proficient in conducting patient assessments and developing care plans
- Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to accurately document patient information
- Ability to perform basic medical procedures, such as IV, medication, or IM administration
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
