Licensed Practical Nurse - Nursing Home administers nursing care in a nursing home environment under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisor. Provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering prescribed medication, and collecting specimens. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse - Nursing Home ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients by assisting with bathing, feeding, and dressing. Monitors and reports changes in patient's condition to supervisor. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse - Nursing Home requires a high school diploma. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Requires a state license to practice. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Licensed Practical Nurse - Nursing Home's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. Barnegat Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is a 115-bed skilled nursing facility, part of the Continuum network, providing clinically sophisticated sub-acute care and rehabilitation, as well as comprehensive nursing care. With extensive leadership experience in the nursing, sub-acute, and rehabilitative field, this facility has the resources and capabilities to provide the highest quality care through a full range of services.
AVAILABLE Shifts:
- 7 am – 3 pm PT and PRN
- 3 – 11 pm FT, PT and PRN
- 11 pm – 7 am PRN
