Licensed Practical Nurse - Nursing Home administers nursing care in a nursing home environment under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisor. Provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering prescribed medication, and collecting specimens. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse - Nursing Home ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients by assisting with bathing, feeding, and dressing. Monitors and reports changes in patient's condition to supervisor. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse - Nursing Home requires a high school diploma. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Requires a state license to practice. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Responsibilities
Here’s how you’ll make a difference as a part of our team of dedicated nurses:As an LPN/LVN , you will provide exceptional care to our residents and make a difference in their lives. You'll be responsible for daily nursing operations, administering medication, and ensuring that each resident reaches their highest level of functioning.
You'll also foster your leadership by supervising CNAs, ensuring they provide high-quality care to our residents. We'll provide you with the tools and resources you need to succeed, including continuous education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Current license by the State Board of Nursing, as a LPN or LVN
- Able to work cohesively with patients/residents, physicians and other team members
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
