Licensed Practical Nurse - Nursing Home administers nursing care in a nursing home environment under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisor. Provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering prescribed medication, and collecting specimens. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse - Nursing Home ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients by assisting with bathing, feeding, and dressing. Monitors and reports changes in patient's condition to supervisor. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse - Nursing Home requires a high school diploma. Responsibilities
- 1 on 1 Patient Care.
- Provides nursing care in accordance with the physician's care plan of treatment, and individual plan of care, as authorized by the client's payer source.
- Take and record blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate measurements.
- Monitor patient's conditions including fluid intake, and output, and compose patient charts.
- Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities.
- Provide emotional support.
Requirements
- Active Missouri Licensed Practical or Registered Nurse License
- Current CPR Certification
- Positive, Professional Attitude
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Problem Solving Skills and ability to Multi-Task
