Licensed Practical Nurse - Nursing Home administers nursing care in a nursing home environment under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisor. Provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering prescribed medication, and collecting specimens. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse - Nursing Home ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients by assisting with bathing, feeding, and dressing. Monitors and reports changes in patient's condition to supervisor. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse - Nursing Home requires a high school diploma. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Requires a state license to practice. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Job Description
As a licensed practical nurse (LPN), you'll provide patient care under the supervision of a nurse or physician. Working in a hospital, private practice, home health environment or other type of healthcare facility, you'll monitor patient vitals, perform testing, collect samples, change dressings, help patients eat, dress or bathe, keep accurate records, and more. You'll play a critical role in preventing illness, providing moral support, promoting health and wellness, and educating patients and their families.

- 1 year of recent recent acute care experience in specialty
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
