Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse - Occupational Health requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Requires a state license to practice. Licensed Practical Nurse - Occupational Health's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Bledsoe County Correctional Complex located in Pikeville, Tennessee.
The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Licensed Practical Nurses work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs.
Qualifications
- Compact License, Tennessee LPN license or ability to obtain license
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support
- Corrections experience not required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Available Shift: Nights, 6:00pm-6:30am, 3-12s, every other weekend
