Licensed Practical Nurse - Outpatient Clinic administers nursing care in an outpatient facility or clinic under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisor. Takes patient history and performs initial physical evaluation of patient's condition. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse - Outpatient Clinic provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering prescribed medication, and collecting specimens. May be responsible for patient triage. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse - Outpatient Clinic requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Requires a state license to practice. Licensed Practical Nurse - Outpatient Clinic's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     Qualifications
    • Active, unrestricted, and compact Registered Nurse license. (Required)
    • Experience with IVs (Required)
    • Willingness to be flexible and adapt as situations require.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    Daily responsibilities
    • Administration of Ketamine IV treatments to patients.
    • Monitoring and reporting patient symptoms or behavior changes, working closely with collaborating physicians.
    • Educating patients about health maintenance and assisting with answering questions or concerns regarding medications.
    • Maintain accurate patient electronic medical records.
    • Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members.
    • Other duties as needed.
