Licensed Practical Nurse - Outpatient Clinic administers nursing care in an outpatient facility or clinic under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisor. Takes patient history and performs initial physical evaluation of patient's condition. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse - Outpatient Clinic provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering prescribed medication, and collecting specimens. May be responsible for patient triage. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse - Outpatient Clinic requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Requires a state license to practice. Licensed Practical Nurse - Outpatient Clinic's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented LPN to join our team at NCC Solutions. You will be providing services to adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. We are currently looking to fill full and part time positions with flexible schedules available.

Main Duties will include:- Providing supervision and professional care to the individuals under the direction of the Registered Nurse
- Administration of medication as required
- Monitoring the medical needs of individuals, communicating any change of status, and providing direction in accordance to the level of care needed
- Serving as the primary contact with the physician of record in applicable settings
- Contribute to the nursing plan of care
- Maintain infection control logs
- Coordinating and assisting in the scheduling of medical appointments and laboratory work
Requirements
Minimum requirements include:
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Licensed by the State of Ohio and current on all CEUs
- Valid Ohio driving license
- Competent with computer skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to delegate tasks
- Ability to maintain a calm demeanor
