Licensed Practical Nurse - Outpatient Clinic administers nursing care in an outpatient facility or clinic under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisor. Takes patient history and performs initial physical evaluation of patient's condition. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse - Outpatient Clinic provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering prescribed medication, and collecting specimens. May be responsible for patient triage. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse - Outpatient Clinic requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Requires a state license to practice. Licensed Practical Nurse - Outpatient Clinic's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at St. Anthony Work Camp located in St. Anthony, Idaho.
The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Licensed Practical Nurses work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs.
Qualifications
- Idaho LPN license or ability to obtain license
- Current CPR
- Corrections experience not required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
