An Award winning Central California Medical Center is actively seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join their outpatient Clinic.
The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will manage an expanding Endoscopy program and will play a key role in developing and implementing the program. The Nurse Practitioner GI will work with a growing team of nursing professionals overseeing a variety of patients and facilities. The Pediatric GI Nurse Practitioner will report to the Nurse Director of Endoscopy, while also collaborating with a team Nurse Practitioners.
The department is searching for Pediatric advanced practice RN with experience in Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Services. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will serve as a member of the clinical faculty, designing curriculum and delivering in service education while also maintaining the implementation of quality improvement plans.
The Nurse Practitioner Pediatrics will evaluate the physical and psychological state of the GI patients, and will provide support to patients by participating in-patient and family teaching counseling and support. The Nurse Practitioner will coordinate the care of Pediatric Gastroenterology surgery pre and post-op. Additionally, the Nurse Practitioner will work with patients and families about education.
