      • Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator and the direction of the Physician, the Clinic LPN manages a broad range of clinical inquiries demonstrating Froedtert South values in all interactions.     • MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
      • High School plus completion of Accredited Practical Nursing Program

    • LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
      • Licensure to be eligible to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Wisconsin.
      • Current BLS and/or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or the ability to obtain certification within 6 weeks of hire.
    • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
      • Knowledge of telephone etiquette, computer, copy machine and fax use.
      • Knowledge of diagnostic procedures, medications and regulatory standards related to an ambulatory care setting.
    • PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
      • Synchronizes patient care by: acting as a liaison with other healthcare providers, reviewing patient records with physicians and facilitating follow-up/ follow-through on diagnostic test results and new or additional orders with the patient and scheduling diagnostic testing and office appointments.
      • Documents patient interaction, updates patient records and facilitates the completion of requests for medical information.
      • Identifies emergent/ urgent/ routine inquiries and provides information to patients that is consistent with the physicians’ practice philosophy.
      • Facilitates in-patient and outpatient hospital billing.
      • Administers medications in a timely manner, safely and in accordance with policy and procedure.
