Licensed Practical Nurse - Outpatient Clinic administers nursing care in an outpatient facility or clinic under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisor. Takes patient history and performs initial physical evaluation of patient's condition. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse - Outpatient Clinic provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering prescribed medication, and collecting specimens. May be responsible for patient triage. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse - Outpatient Clinic requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Requires a state license to practice. Licensed Practical Nurse - Outpatient Clinic's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will assist RNs, Physicians and other providers. You will provide direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. You will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. The cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category. We have openings for an LPN in Family Practice, Urgent Care, Urology, Orthopedics, and Podiatry. We have part time and full time hours available!
Education Qualifications:Required Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in appropriate state (Minnesota).
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months.
