Agency Licensing Manager
The Agency Licensing Manager will collaborate with our
Territory Management Team to expand and develop our Independent Agency
distribution. Your mission? To ensure compliance with agency licensing
regulations and company standards for new agency appointments.

About the ROLE
Each day at AssuranceAmerica is
different, but as Agency Licensing Manager, you will support Sales Territory
Managers and our Independent Agents with a focus on the following:
· Strategic Alignment & Execution: Create,
deploy, and execute strategic agency licensing initiatives aimed at enhancing
agency expansion, agency premium growth, and agency customer retention.
· Licensing Management: Manage and oversee the
agency licensing and appointment process to ensure compliance with legal and
regulatory standards. Review and oversee partnership agreements to ensure they
align with the company's business objectives.
· Agency Compliance: Develop, implement, and
update compliance policies and procedures for agency partnership. Review and
oversee appointment contracts to ensure they align with the company's business
and regulatory requirements. Maintain comprehensive records of agency
compliance activities, audits, and performance reviews.
· Agency Licensing Maintenance and Automation:
Identify and analyze licensing software to automate and facilitate the regular
management and updating of compliance data. Recommend software and process upgrades when cost/benefit analyses
support them.
· Agency Relationships: Collaborate with Territory
Managers to Cultivate and maintain strong, productive relationships with our
network of insurance agencies. Be available to support and back-up Territory
Managers as a point of contact for agency inquiries, concerns, and support
needs. Conduct agency visits to identify
areas for licensing and compliance improvement.
· Growth Initiatives: Collaborate with the Sales,
Product Management, IT and Legal teams to identify opportunities for expanding
our agency network. Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new agency
partners ensuring they are fully equipped to represent our brand effectively.
· Agency Support: Collaborate with Territory
Managers to provide ongoing support and assistance to agency partners, address
inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure timely responses.
· Performance Monitoring: Work with Sales
Management to facilitate the tracking of agency performance and key performance
indicators (KPIs) and the delivery of this information to Territory
Managers. With emphasis on supplying
this data by appointment criteria metrics or unique application
criteria/segmentation.
· Problem Solving: Tackle challenges head-on,
using creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills to resolve agent
issues and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
· Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate
records of agency interactions, issues, and resolutions. Prepare regular
reports to senior management and Sales on agency performance and other areas
requiring attention.
· Customer-Centric Focus: Maintain a
customer-centric approach in all interactions, ensuring our agents and internal
constituents receive the highest level of support and satisfaction.
· Other: Assist with special projects as assigned
by the SVP of Sales & Service.

Required
· Five years of insurance related experience or a
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field.

· Willingness to travel to meet with agency
partners when necessary.
· Proficiency in CRM software (ie Salesforce) and
Microsoft Office solutions.
Preferred
· Knowledge of auto insurance products,
regulations, and industry trends and best practices.
· Proven experience in the insurance industry with
a focus on agency support and management.
· Prior management experience directing the
day-to-day responsibilities of a team.
Physical Requirements
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working
on a computer.
· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
· Must be able to travel.
