Licensing Manager oversees the licensing of employees responsible for the sale and marketing of insurance, loan, or investment products. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations; maintains all necessary records. Being a Licensing Manager manages license acquisition and renewal processes. Establishes databases or recordkeeping policies and strategies to track the status of agents, applications, and forms. Additionally, Licensing Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Licensing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Licensing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Licensing Coordinator Compensation
- The pay for this position is $21 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Licensing Coordinator Highlights
- The required availability for this position is
- Mon-Fri 8 : 30am - 5pm
Licensing Coordinator Responsibilities
- Assist as needed with monthly license renewals and ongoing regulatory notifications to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Database maintenance of current license fees, renewal dates, and vendor information.
- Maintain on-site and electronic license files and supply copies upon request.
- Correspond with federal, state, and local agencies regarding license renewals.
- Prepares reports to support business needs and requests.
- Reconciliation and quality control of licensing payments made by credit card.
- Perform other related duties to assist with special projects as requested by Management.
Licensing Coordinator Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or similar field preferred and have 2 years of relevant work experience.
- 3 or more years of professional work experience
- Administrative could replace but will need licensing experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
