Licensing Manager oversees the licensing of employees responsible for the sale and marketing of insurance, loan, or investment products. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations; maintains all necessary records. Being a Licensing Manager manages license acquisition and renewal processes. Establishes databases or recordkeeping policies and strategies to track the status of agents, applications, and forms. Additionally, Licensing Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Licensing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Licensing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. This job includes representing the Department of Licensing and processing vehicle transactions, such as tab renewals, vehicle and vessel title transfers, trip permits and disabled parking privileges.
Hours will be M-F 8:30-5:30 and
2-4 Saturdays per month 8:30-1:30
Requirements: HS Education or equivalent Customer Service experience, Computer oriented, and Cashiering. Car knowledge and DOL experience preferred
