As a pioneer in digital transformation, we're seeking an adept Government Relations Specialist to champion our innovative County Marriage Licensing Software. This unique role involves strategic planning, relationship management, and direct lobbying to make our software the preferred choice for county officials nationwide.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Policy Planning

- Formulate and execute strategies to foster the integration of our software into county government settings.

- Analyze legislation that could impact the deployment of our software, and develop responses and action plans.

Lobbying and Advocacy

- Actively represent our company to local and state government entities, promoting understanding and adoption of our software.

- Advocate for policies and initiatives that support the implementation and spread of our software.

Stakeholder Engagement

- Develop and nurture relationships with county officials, key government stakeholders, and decision-makers.

- Coordinate meetings, presentations, and events to educate stakeholders about our software, facilitating wider recognition and acceptance.

Requirements:

Technical Skills

- Significant experience in government relations or lobbying, preferably within the software or technology industry.

- Expert knowledge of the legislative process.

- Understanding of the marriage licensing mechanism and governmental digital transformation trends.

Soft Skills

- Superior negotiating, influencing, and advocacy skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly express complex ideas.

- Strong networking and relationship management skills to build and maintain meaningful connections with stakeholders.
