Life Underwriting Supervisor jobs in Springfield, MO

The Cottage Life Supervisor (CLS) is responsible for the safe and therapeutic implementation of the model of care in their assigned cottage.

CLS ensures cottage fidelity to KVC’s treatment model, standards and expectations to create a safe and therapeutic milieu, ensures resources/series are available for clients as outlined in the client’s plan, and ensures all milieu documentation is completed in a timely and professional manner.

CLS are responsible for the selection, supervision, evaluation, and development of Youth Care Specialists (YCS).

Schedule:

• Overnight-Awake Shift: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am, 5 days on / 2 days off

Pay:

• $20 - $22 / hour Depending on Experience and Education

Education:

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Equivalent combination of years of college education and direct care experience within a behavioral population.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in social services related field.
• 2 – 4 years of experience in a residential care setting.
• Experience in behavior management in relating to and communicating with children, with a wide range of behavioral issues from moderate to severe.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications:

• Class E driver's license with good driving record
• Strong customer service focus
• Excellent time management
• Oral and written communication skills
• Word, Excel, and e-mail applications proficiency
• Must be 21 years old to apply.
• Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required.
