Light Assembler assembles fabricated parts of small or light subassemblies and completes units. Fits, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Being a Light Assembler identifies and sorts units that fail quality standards. May disassemble units to repair or refit parts as necessary. Additionally, Light Assembler operates hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Light Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Automation Personnel Services is looking for hard-working Assemblers for a company based in Lewisburg, TN. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for assembling doors according to company standards.
Pay Rate:
$17.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours:
7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Assemblers Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review process sheets and drawings to know what material will be required for the specified job.
- Follow the process established to guarantee zero defects.
- Check materials prior to assembly to make sure all specifications are met.
- Follow all safety rules.
- Wear PPE in all designated areas for each job function.
- Must be able to use hand tools.
- Must be able to operate machines such as band saws, lathes, and punch presses.
- Must know how to operate a forklift.
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Background check and drug screen required.
