Light Assembler jobs in Portsmouth, NH
Light Assembler assembles fabricated parts of small or light subassemblies and completes units. Fits, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Being a Light Assembler identifies and sorts units that fail quality standards. May disassemble units to repair or refit parts as necessary. Additionally, Light Assembler operates hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Light Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. - Re-inspects reworked units
- Identifies non-reworkable issues to the supervisor
- Routes non-conforming material to the Material Review Board (MRB)
- Applies use of Electro Static Discharge (ESD) precautions when handling products
- Works independently in the Engineering Department with Engineers
Hours: Monday through Friday from 6:00am-2:30pm OR 7:00am-3:30pm
