Follows all portion and presentation specifications and proper preparation methods. Being a Line Cook sets up and stocks workstation with all necessary supplies. Coordinates with other line cooks to ensure meals are delivered consistently and on time. Additionally, Line Cook is responsible for operating and maintaining a single workstation. May prepare sauces or garnishes. Follows all applicable guidelines and regulations for food handling and safety. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a sous chef or executive chef. The Line Cook works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.     A Dishwasher is a professional who is responsible for cleaning dishes in a foodservice environment to ensure that there is always plenty of clean tableware at hand. When washing, they prioritize different types and sizes of crockery and kitchen utensils. They are in charge of loading the dishwasher and placing dishes on drying racks to be put away properly when done using. The Dishwasher's main goal is to ensure that guests will always enjoy exceptional dining experiences. Whether working in an on-trend national brand, or an iconic concept from the local community, you will create and deliver first-class experiences for the traveling public.

      • Maintain a professional company image by adhering to all grooming and uniform guidelines, including slip resistant shoes.
      • Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas.
      • Load and unload dishwashing machines.
      • Wash items in 3 compartment sinks, when dishwasher is unavailable.
      • Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately, following Food Safety and Sanitation Guidelines.
      • Set up workstations before meal prep begins.
      • Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, utensil, and equipment, especially during peak hours.
      • Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents.)
      • Check dishwashing machines’ operation and report any technical/performance issues to management.
      • Remove garbage regularly.
      • Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor.
      • Must go above and beyond for guests and other team members.
      • Enthusiastically supports decisions once they have been made by management.
      • Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment.
      • Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
      • Maintain a clean organized work environment that is free of safety hazards which may include sweeping and mopping.
      • Accountable for compliance with all local, state, federal laws, and regulations including those relating to food safety.
      • Perform other duties as assigned.
