Are you an energetic team player committed to excellence and looking to grow your career in culinary hospitality? Champions Retreat Golf Club is seeking experienced Line Cooks to join our team.

Qualified candidates will possess 2-3 years’ experience in fine dining or upscale dining restaurants that specialize in "from scratch" cooking using classic, modern, and contemporary techniques.

Specific Job Responsibilities :

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen staff.
• Answer, report and follow Executive Chef's instructions.
• Always maintain proper cleanliness of station.
• Stock inventory appropriately.
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
• Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers, members, and guests.

Job Skill / Requirements :

• 2-3 years line cook experience in fine or upscale dining, banquet and events.
• Food Serve Safe certification and have experience with local sanitation regulations.
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Familiarity with the best practices in the food and catering services industry.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards.
• Self-motivated and disciplined.
• Ability to multitask and work quickly under pressure.
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions without close, daily direction.
• Ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner.
• Must be able to work holidays, evenings, weekends and be flexible with changes as requested.
• Ability to work in an environment that includes activities such as bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting.

Be able to lift 25-30 pounds frequently, and push, pull, lift, or carry 50 pounds occasionally.
