Performs site preparation tasks, including digging holes or trenches, installing anchors, climbing poles, and using equipment like digger derricks, aerial lifts, pulling and tensioning equipment, forklifts, and dump trucks. Being a Lineman installs wire and cable. Follows all safety regulations and procedures. Additionally, Lineman work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires a valid Driver's License. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Lineman works under moderate supervision. - Excavate utility lines by shovel or equipment
- Engage in tree trimming activities near power lines

- Read Prints and track daily and weekly progress
- Assist in utility locating procedures
Experience:
The successful candidate should have experience in telecommunications line work both new build as well as maintenance of existing networks.
