Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in laundering, and maintaining cleanliness, particularly in a commercial laundry setting. This position is labor intensive, and applicants must be able to lift 60lbs.

Responsibilities:
- Provide a variety of services to include, but not limited to, collecting, sorting, distributing and stocking linen and laundry
- Inspect linen for stains or damage and treat them accordingly
- Operate laundry machinery following safety guidelines
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed
- Ensure all laundry areas are kept clean and organized
- Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures.

Skills:
- Experience in sorting, distributing and laundering techniques
- Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization
- Strong attention to detail to identify stains or damages on linen
- Knowledge of proper linen care methods
- Previous experience in a laundry labor intensive setting is a plus
