Job Title:                     Production Team Member- Linen Loader     

Job Summary:             Preparing, loading, and distribution of linen to proper route.

Role Priorities:

• Efficiently fill routes with accurate product - work from load sheets from office.
• Take filled routes out to route bay for delivery.
• Communicate with Department Supervisor to ensure proper linens are being processed.
• Ensure quality of product and meet daily production quantity goals.
• Work in other areas of department as necessary.

Role Requirements and Essential Job Functions:

• Training period of 4-6 weeks to become familiar with stock, pieces processed, company standards, and to attain routine for normal efficiency.
• Must be able to stand and walk all day with prolonged use of hand and arm motions.
• Repetitive grasping of hands.
• Frequent lifting and carrying of product up to 22lbs.
• Frequent pushing and pulling 75lbs.
• Also twisting, bending, turning, squatting, kneeling, walking, and occasional reaching to upper heights.
• Repetitive work.
• Assist Supervisor in improving a system of production control, standard operating procedures, safety, and quality control.
• Ability to read and write English.

Skills and Experience:

• Basic mathematic knowledge- adding/subtracting.
• Ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, and productivity.
• Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team player.
• Commitment to company values.

Work Environment:

• Inside typical plant environment- can be hot and humid; must be aware of safety protocols and avoiding injury to hands from moving parts of machinery and tools.

Education:

•  High school diploma or equivalent.

 General work hours are Monday through Friday.
