Linen Porter - Braemar

Your Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our housekeeping team at The Fife Arms Hotel, Braemar, as a Linen Porter working closely with our Housekeeping Manager.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a passion for excellent service and a desire to develop whilst under the mentorship of our Housekeeping Manager, and the team.

As Linen Porter you will be responsible for :

• Taking dirty laundry from the floors to the laundry room
• Sorting and counting linen, preparing for it to be sent to the laundry
• Receiving clean linen from the laundry, checking contents with the delivery notes
• Taking clean linen to the laundry rooms on the floors, unpacking the bags and placing the items on the shelves
• Reporting any maintenance issues or damage to Housekeeping Manager or supervisor on shift
• Assisting team or help with other duties when required
• Keeping Linen room and store organised
• Supporting housekeeper in stripping beds
• Provided support as and when needed
