Growing government contractor looking to bring on a Linux Administrator to their team. All viable candidates will need to have an active DOD Secret clearance to be considered.
• The Contractor shall monitor, administer, and ensure recoverability and adherence of Red Hat technical infrastructure and application environments.
• The contractor shall monitor, administer, and ensure recoverability and adherence of RedHat technical infrastructure and application environments. Systems administration includes, but not limited to: support of both hardware and operating system; and maintenance of the applications running on the servers. Examples of these tasks includes, but not limited to: installing security patches; completing backups, completing system restoration; software installs and version upgrades; service account management; directory service administration; correction/recovery of corrupted files; and applying STIGs, SRGs, and IAVMs, etc.
• The contractor shall monitor, administer, and ensure recoverability and adherence of RedHat technical infrastructure and application environments. Systems administration includes, but not limited to: support of both hardware and operating system; and maintenance of the applications running on the servers.
• The Contractor shall coordinate Web/Apache Administration tasks. Examples of these tasks includes, but not limited to: installing security patches; completing backups, completing system restoration; software installs and version upgrades; correction/recovery of corrupted files; certificate management; password management; and applying STIGs, SRGs, and IAVMs, etc.
• The contractor shall develop and deploy administration support for, to include but not limited to: Automation, Scripting to provision, STIG remediation, for all Hill CEDC technology stacks.
• The Contractor shall provide personnel who possess specific technical and functional expertise and knowledge of Red Hat products, including but not limited to:
o Red Hat Atomic LXC/Docker Container environment
o Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 6 and higher
o Red Hat Identity Policy Audit (IPA) versions 4 and higher
o Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (JBoss EAP) version 5 and higher
o Red Hat OpenShift Platform version 4 and higher
o Red Hat Certificate System
Education, Certification & Experience Requirements
