Work business hours Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with required on-call availability for after hours, Holidays and Weekends. Hourly rate $52.89

Responsibilities
- Install, implement, test, and maintain Linux Servers (RHEL).
- Bash Programming.
- Basic Linux Administration of File Systems.
- Linux User Management.
- Linux Security, Network and Firewall management.
- Linux Licensing.
- Linux Troubleshooting for User Administration and File Permissions
- Disaster Recovery preparedness for Linux Servers by maintaining and tuning backup and recovery processes.
- Installs, configures, and patches for Linux Servers.
- Identify and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Ensure information security.
- Provide end-user support to technical and non-technical audiences.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong Linux Administration experience
- Strong knowledge in writing and maintaining bash shell scripts
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Strong Analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong Technical communication skills
- String documentation skills
- Work well in a collaborative team environment
- Be able to work on multiple projects and assignments at the same time in an organized manner
Minimum Experience and Education Required:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the last 7 years as a Linux Administrator in a lead role including system specification planning, performance tuning, storage management, back-up, recovery, and Linux clustering.
- Thirty (30) semester (45 quarter) units of completed, post high-school coursework from an accredited university or technical school in Computer Information Systems, Business/Public Administration, or a closely related field
