JOB DESCRIPTION
The Case Manager is an exciting role, serving as the main point of contact for clients, insurance companies, and medical providers. From intake to case closed, they will work closely with Attorney Salk to fight for the fair compensation of the client. Responsibilities include:
· Guiding new clients through the intake/sign-up process
· Creation and maintenance of client case files
· Investigation of each case; verifying insurance coverage, liability, etc.
· Management of the property damage aspect of each assigned case
· Facilitating the medical care of assigned clients. i.e. ensuring that appointments are kept
· Obtaining and analyzing medical documentation relating to injury claims
· Proper record keeping of all communications between clients, medical providers, insurance carriers
· Drafting of correspondence to insurance carriers, clients, and medical providers
· Maintaining open lines of communication with clients and the Salk Law team regarding case and claim statuses
· Tracking of important dates and deadlines.
· Preparing files and demand packages for submission to insurance carriers
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of bodily injury, uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage, and PIP. Strong organizational skills and the ability to think critically are the keys to success in this position. Applicants should also possess the following traits/skills:

· Proficiency in: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
· Punctuality and Reliability
· Strong integrity, with the ability to handle confidential/sensitive client information
