Being a Litigation Docket Manager generates reports detailing action items and due dates. Monitors deadlines and works with attorneys to resolve scheduling conflicts. Additionally, Litigation Docket Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Litigation Docket Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Stafford Rosenbaum is seeking a legal assistant with a minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation to join the firm’s litigation team in its Madison office. The litigation assistant is responsible, among other things, for assisting with litigation matters under the supervision of attorneys of the firm.
The candidate filling this position will possess an advanced knowledge of litigation, including preparing and filing pleadings, trial preparation, calendar deadlines, discovery, client communications, scheduling, and maintaining litigation files.
