The Lewis Law Firm is seeking a strong, established, and client-focused attorney to join our team as a Personal Injury Pre-Litigation and Litigation Attorney. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace.

Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Researches laws and prepares legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda.
• Adheres to the Firm's Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principles.

• Meet with potential clients while maintaining the highest level of compassion and empathy.
• Review and monitor cases to ensure that the client(s) receive outstanding service.
• Handle escalated calls that require attorney communication.
• Negotiate claims with insurance adjusters and defense counsel.
• Strategize ways to maximize value of cases for client(s).
• Correspond with clients and opposing counsel.
• Support attorneys and staff within the pre-litigation and litigation team.
• Analyze and summarize legal documents.
• Legal research and drafting of a wide range of legal documents.

• Such as drafting Motions, Pleadings, Discovery, etc...

Qualifications Include (but are not limited to):

• 1 year(s) of personal injury experience
• Admitted to South Carolina or North Carolina State Bar with an active license in “good standing.”

• Dual South Carolina and North Carolina licensed preferred.

• Knowledge and understanding of pre-litigation and litigation process.
• Must possess analytical, legal research, and writing skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling client matters, while adhering to strict deadlines.
• Strong ethics and client care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
