Litigation Docket Manager oversees the team responsible for tracking the organization's docket files and records. Ensures records and deadlines are properly and timely entered into the calendar. Being a Litigation Docket Manager generates reports detailing action items and due dates. Monitors deadlines and works with attorneys to resolve scheduling conflicts. Additionally, Litigation Docket Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Litigation Docket Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Litigation Docket Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Summary:
    RemX is assisting our law firm client with a search for a Litigation Paralegal for their Sarasota office. The ideal candidate will assist with various aspects of the litigation process, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Responsibilities:

    • Draft and prepare pleadings for filing.
    • Attend telephone conferences and prepare summary memoranda.
    • Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes.
    • Assist in drafting broker transition documents.
    • Organize exhibits, documents, briefs, and appendices.
    • Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests.
    • Gather relevant information from diverse sources.
    • Redact sensitive information from documents.
    • Assist in trial preparation by preparing binders, indexing discovery, and organizing trial exhibits.
    • Prepare witness preparation binders.

    Skills Required:

    • Proven experience as a litigation paralegal.
    • Knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, and litigation documentation.
    • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong writing and communication skills with keen attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in computer applications and databases, particularly MS Excel and Word.

    Job Requirements:

    • Paralegal Certificate (Required)

    Compensation:

    65-85K
