The University of Notre Dame (ND.jobs) is accepting applications for a
Litigation and Records Legal Professional.

The Litigation & Records Professional supports attorneys who handle litigation involving the University. The primary functions of the position are: (i) managing discovery, including by implementing and managing the e-discovery process; (ii) gathering responsive records and drafting discovery responses; (iii) assisting with investigations; and (iv) serving as liaison to insurance carriers and Risk Management for insured litigation. Additionally, the Litigation & Records Professional processes records requests, including those made purusant to a subpoena or FERPA or other law or regulation, and is responsible for processing and managing the expungement of records. This role also provides primary support to the Associate General Counsel for Compliance, with duties including the regular review of new and proposed regulations and distribution of those regulations to campus partners as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5-6 years of combined experience working in a legal environment
- Project management, time management
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Displays good judgment
- Comfortable working under deadlines, sometimes with incomplete information
- Technical expertise, with the ability to learn new software, is a must
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree and/or Paralegal Certification is preferred.
