Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Case Manager to join our legal team. As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of personal injury cases in the pre-litigation stage. Duties:
- Manage and oversee all pre-litigation cases from start to finish
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
- Communicate with clients, adjusters, attorneys, and staff regarding cases
- Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals to ensure effective case management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation
- Utilize document management systems and legal case management software for efficient case organization. Filevine experience is a plus
- Conduct interviews with clients, witnesses, and experts as needed
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required
- Proven experience as a Case Manager, Adjuster or similar role within a law firm or insurance company is required
- Experience handling more than 120 cases or claims simultaneously is required
- Proficiency in using document management systems and legal case management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
