A mid-sized Buffalo law firm is looking to add an experienced Litigation Paralegal to their staff to aid in the administration and litigation of complex cases. This position will require hands on involvement from the initial client intake all the way through trial.

Duties Include:

• Performing factual and legal research
• Drafting correspondence, litigation notices, routine pleadings, settlement agreements, etc.
• Gathering medical reports, client interviews, reviewing witness reports, and determining the extent of damage covered by insurance policies
• Discovery and trial preparation
• State and federal E-filing
• Significant communication with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and others

Job Requirements

• 3-5 years of Paralegal experience
• Litigation experience required
• Personal Injury experience strongly desired
• Highly organized
• Strong computer skills: Microsoft Word and accurate typing skills
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills

Pay: $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
