Monitors timelines and work progress to ensure work is completed on time. Being a Litigation Manager conducts new hire and ongoing training sessions. Requires a thorough knowledge of the organization's products/services. Additionally, Litigation Manager requires a bachelor's/master's degree. Typically reports to the top legal executive/general counsel. The Litigation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Candidate must possess excellent leadership, organization, oral and written communication skills, advanced knowledge of litigation and discovery processes and technologies, including e-discovery preferred. Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Professional, PACER, e-discovery platforms, TABS, Practice Master, Case Map and Text Map.
