We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our law firm located in the California wine country. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality legal support.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in California litigation practice, including probate. Experience with transactional work helpful. Practice includes corporate formation, merger and acquisition work, drafting contracts, easements, business and real property agreements, and recording and processing filings with administrative and regulatory agencies.
Education: Must have college degree or Paralegal Certificate.
Proficiency: Working knowledge of Office 365, including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, and other software applications such as Adobe DC, Casemap, Textmap and Sanction. Experience with CLIO is a plus. The candidate must also have legal research skills using LexisNexis, proficient knowledge of California state and federal rules and procedures; calendaring; e-filing; preparation of pleadings, preparation of subpoenas, discovery and court forms; scheduling depositions and appointments; assist in attorney preparation for depositions, hearings and trial; deposition reviews and record reviews.
