Job Description
Position Summary: The Law Department is seeking an attorney with at least three (3) years of litigation experience. The Assistant County Solicitor will report to the Deputy County Solicitor who supervises the civil litigation portfolio of the County. In this role, the Assistant County Solicitor will be responsible for defending the County in state and federal court in a wide variety of matters including employment disputes, premises liability cases, civil rights matters, and contractual disputes. Additionally, this attorney will provide direct advice and counseling to County stakeholders.

Work Life: Although litigation can always be unpredictable, working hours are generally 9am - 5pm with the option to telework two days per week.
