Litigation Support Manager oversees the team that uses technology to support an organization's litigation efforts. Develops and implements policies and procedures for designing, implementing, and maintaining litigation databases. Being a Litigation Support Manager is responsible for the technical aspects of document organization and control, including electronic discovery (eDiscovery). Provides training to the end users on database use and document management. Additionally, Litigation Support Manager confirms the accuracy of the documents and exhibits for trial. May handle more complex cases. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Litigation Support Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Litigation Support Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Fluent in American Sign Language.

    POSITION: Personal Supports.

    STATUS: Full-Time (40 hours).

    WHO IS A CASE MANAGER? 
    • A Direct Support Professional who assists Deaf or Deaf-Blind Adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities.
    • Assistance includes Home-based assistance with personal care, cleaning, laundry, cooking, medication management, and assistance with mail.
    • Community-based assistance with medical appointments, shopping, socialization, and activities/events. 
    • Other duties as identified in the annual Person-Centered Plan (PCP) meeting.

    EXPECTATIONS: 
    • Excellent time management skills, well organized, team player, positive attitude, patient and respectful.
    • Annual physical and flu vaccinations are required.

    QUALIFICATIONS: 
    • Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma with 3 years relevant experience.
    • Valid MD Driver’s License with 2 points or less.
    • Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL).

    APPLICATION DEADLINE: Until filled.

    SALARY: Starting at $16/hour.

    WORK HOURS:
    • Full-Time: Monday-Friday 10a-6p; 11a-7p. Some Flex Hours.
    • Some weekends required on-call.
    • Position based in the Baltimore Metro area.
