Litigation Support Manager oversees the team that uses technology to support an organization's litigation efforts. Develops and implements policies and procedures for designing, implementing, and maintaining litigation databases. Being a Litigation Support Manager is responsible for the technical aspects of document organization and control, including electronic discovery (eDiscovery). Provides training to the end users on database use and document management. Additionally, Litigation Support Manager confirms the accuracy of the documents and exhibits for trial. May handle more complex cases. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Litigation Support Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Litigation Support Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive support to attorneys in all aspects of case preparation and management.
    • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare correspondence.
    • Assist in the Discovery process by organizing and managing documents and coordinating the exchange of information between parties.
    • Manage case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
    • Assist in trial preparation and support attorneys during hearings and trials.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a litigation paralegal, with a strong emphasis on general civil litigation and familiarity with family law.
    • Proficiency in legal research, case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
