Description

• Ensure receipt and tracking of referral information via email, fax and/or phone for each new ACTT consumer
• Obtain all supporting documents and information required for financial intake of ACTT consumers including: demographics, emergency contact information, assignment of benefits, copies of insurance cards, verification of eligibility, etc.
• Obtain all supporting documents required for processing clinical intakes of ACTT consumers including: current Person Centered Plans and Comprehensive Clinical Assessments indicating need for services; authorization information; medication history; records of previous inpatient psychiatric hospitalizations, etc.
• As required, participate in orientation for new ACTT consumers.
• Track and check for pending authorizations and re authorizations as necessary and as assigned.
• Process consumer information into CaseWorks.
• Maintain spreadsheets for tracking various program functions including: caseload assignments, emergency call and back up schedule, metrics for service definition compliance (i.e. % community-based), authorizations, PCP updates/revisions, etc.

• Must have experience as a Front Office/Administrative Assistant. Excellent typing and computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Educational requirements are at least a high school degree (an Associate’s degree in medical office, medical transcription or related field is preferred).
