Being a Litigation Support Specialist is responsible for the technical aspects of document organization and control, including electronic discovery (eDiscovery). Trains end users in database use and document management. Additionally, Litigation Support Specialist may assist in the preparation of documents or exhibits for trial. Requires a bachelor's degree. Southeastern Directions for Life has an immediate opening for a full-time Peer Support Specialist at the 5th Street location. Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
JOB SUMMARY: The Peer Support Specialist will provide support and guidance for each client’s needs, both during and after treatment. Through collaboration with a peer support specialist, clients will learn about their own recovery and become familiar with new ways to meet their own needs and goals. The peer support specialist will use their own recovery experience to guide the client through their recovery.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of High School Diploma/GED. Applicant must provide a self-attestation of on-going recovery from a mental health diagnosis and have demonstrated 6 consecutive months of self-directed recovery in accordance with the definition by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services: “A process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential.” Applicant must have a current driver's license, car insurance, and a driving record acceptable to Southeastern’s insurance provider. Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check to include fingerprinting, Dept. of Social Services Central Registry check, Motor Vehicle background check, and drug screening.
