Overview Reporting to the Senior Loan Officer, the Loan Clerk is the primary underwriter of all Credit Union loans and also responsible for most loan interviews and most of the direct Member service and counseling within the lending department. Qualifications Education/Experience Minimum Required: High school graduate and three years related experience in a high-paced lending environment. Preferred: Associates or Bachelor’s degree and three years Credit Union lending experience. License/Certification Minimum Required: Must be a Mortgage Loan Originator with a registered NMLS # prior to underwriting or assisting with five real estate loans.
