Loan Collection Clerk supports the collections group by performing routine administrative and clerical tasks. Inputs data, coordinates document distribution, and responds to customer requests related to loans. Being a Loan Collection Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. This is important supervisory work in directing assigned field operations of solid waste collection, brush collection and related disposal activities in an assigned area of the City. Work involves extensive public contact which requires the exercise of considerable tact and diplomacy. Work includes responsibility for making route assignments; supervising crews; assisting in the selection, training, placement, safety, appraisal and discipline of assigned personnel; conducting field inspections of residences, businesses and industrial establishments to determine conformity to City regulations; and monitoring budget and overtime expenditures. Duties may also include participation in route planning for new routes or the redesign of old routes. An employee in this class exercises moderate independent judgment and initiative in carrying out assignments and must be able to supervise weekend work and special activities.
Salary: $26.05 - $41.01 Hourly
