Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Title Searcher and Administrative Assistant. This role will involve conducting title searches, handling administrative tasks, and providing support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. The position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement, allowing individuals to work partly in the office and partly from home, based on their preference.

Responsibilities:

• Title Searching:
• Conduct thorough title searches using online databases, county records, and other resources to verify property ownership, mortgages, liens, easements, and other encumbrances.
• Analyze and interpret legal documents such as deeds, mortgages, surveys, and title abstracts to determine property ownership and rights.
• Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and identifying any potential issues or discrepancies.
• Administrative Duties:
• Assist with general office tasks including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining office supplies.
• Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems for documents related to property titles and transactions.
• Schedule appointments, meetings, and property inspections as required.
• Assist in the preparation of documents, contracts, and reports.
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
• Customer Service:
• Interact with clients, real estate agents, attorneys, and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
• Address inquiries and provide assistance regarding title search results and administrative matters.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in conducting title searches and familiarity with relevant legal documents and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent research skills.
• Proficiency in using online databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Previous experience in administrative support roles is preferred.
• Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, with the option to work partly from home.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in real estate, legal studies, or related field is a plus.
